    The Camps Committed to Inclusion Project AODA workshop is coming to your region! The workshop has been specially designed for staff who are responsible for their camp’s AODA implementation and compliance. 


    During this workshop we will review the legislation, discuss in detail your legal requirements, provide you with a multitude of resources, and share best practices for ensuring your camp’s successful compliance. There will be an opportunity to ask the presenting AODA speakers and community representatives questions about how the legislation affects your particular camp. We will also have a Q & A following the workshop.


    Who Should Attend: 
    Management Team Staff, including Executive Directors/CEOs, Directors & Managers (HR, Communications, Policy Development, and Volunteer Coordinators).


    Why Attend: 
    In 2017, all camps that engage 20 or more employees at any point in the year will be required to complete another compliance report with the Government of Ontario.  As well, January 1, 2018, is the deadline for several new AODA compliance requirements. Organizations and staff need to ensure that they meet those requirements within the time frames set by the law.

    One table and two chairs will be provided at each display in the Hilton Hotel - Markham Suites Conference Centre Foyer on Wednesday, January 24th. 


    Setup Time is from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and Take Down Time is at 2:00 pm.


    Lunch is included.


    Further information will be provided, including, final times, a map of where your table will be located in the Conference Foyer, a Parking Pass, confirmation of Name Tags and any other information that the Hotel provides.
